Mental Health Clinical Outpatient Services

Mental Health Clinical Outpatient Services include psychiatric services, psychiatric medication management and mental health counseling services, both individual and group. These services are provided by St. Mary's Hospital of Amsterdam*, NY, 12010 518.841.7341. Services are provided for a wide range of mental health needs from depression and anxiety treatment to schizophrenia treatment.   Most health insurance programs are accepted, including Medicaid and a sliding fee scale payment system is available for individuals who can not afford to pay themselves and do not qualify for insurance.

There are a variety of other "support services" available for people who attend the clinic and qualify for the services. Most "support services" are obtained by application through the Single Point of Access process, which can be made by the patient, their family, an advocate or the clinician.
