The Montgomery County Workers Compensation Fund is responsible for Workers Compensation for all Montgomery County towns, 9 villages, Volunteer Ambulance Corps., Volunteer Fire Departments, M.O.S.A and the City of Amsterdam. Approximately 4,000 people are in the plan and FMCC. It has been in existence since 1954, and the Personnel Officer is the Director of the program and works closely with the County Treasurer and the County Attorney regarding all matters of Workers Compensation. We also contract with a third-party administrator for claims review and payments.
