The Montgomery County Dept. of Social Services provides services to adults who may be in need of assistance as a result of impairment from age, illness, addiction or mental limitations. If you know of someone who may benefit from these services you should contact the Montgomery County Dept. of Social Services, Fonda, NY, at 518.853.8162.
If you know of a child who you believe may be at risk of harm, you should contact the Child Abuse Hot Line at 1-800-342-3720. If you believe that the child is in immediate danger you should call the police at 911.
Children who may need assistance as a result of neglect, abuse or because their own behavior puts them at risk of harm may be assisted by the Montgomery County Dept. of Social Services, Children's Preventative Services at 518.853.8178.
