Greater Amsterdam School District
The Greater Amsterdam School District is located in Amsterdam, NY and includes 6 schools that serve over 3,700 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade. Students are encouraged to join in extra-curricular activities including Orchestra, Jazz, and Marching Band, Color Guard, Junior ROTC, Choral Club, Ski Club, Yearbook, Drama, Key Club, School Newspaper, Art, Science, Dance, Math, Master Minds, Operation Smile, and Mock Trial. Student-athletes attending Amsterdam can participate in a variety of inter-scholastic sports, while competing in the Big 10 Conference. Canajoharie Central School District
The Canajoharie Central School District covers 100 square miles and serves parts of eight townships in Montgomery and Schoharie counties. Approximately 1,050 students are enrolled in Kindergarten through twelfth grade. Student-athletes at Canajoharie compete in a wide range of interscholastic sports in the Western Athletic Conference. Named one of the top 100 music programs in the U.S. in 2005, and number one in the state for promoting the fine arts in 2006, Canajoharie School District is New York’s only High School designated as a Pioneering Partner in Technology.

Fulton-Montgomery Community College is nestled in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, and extends over almost 200 acres.
