Children's Mental Health Services

Counseling Services for children are provided by the Children's Mental Health Clinic of St. Mary's Hospital at 8 Northampton Rd., Amsterdam, NY Phone: 518.843.7520. In addition, there are case management and residential services for children. To obtain these services application must be made through the Children's Single Point of Access for Fulton and Montgomery County, which is operated by the Mental Health Assoc. for Fulton and Montgomery County at 518.762.5332, X- 115

Single Point of Access - Kids

Residential and Case Management Services for children with serious emotional disturbances are obtained by application to the Single Point of Access for Kids or SPOA which may be reached at 518.762.5332, X- 115

Outpatient Counseling

Counseling services for children and their care givers is available through the Children's Mental Health Clinic of St. Mary's Hospital* at 8 Northampton Rd., Amsterdam, NY 12010, Phone: 518-843-7520. Case Management Services, Parent Partner Services and school collaboration services are available.

Intensive Case Management

Intensive Case Management (ICM) is provided by St. Mary's Hospital to children with serious emotional disturbances who show an acute need for additional assistance to function in their home and community. Access to these services can be obtained through the Single Point of Access (SPOA) for Kids at 518.762.5332, X- 115.

Coordinated Children's Services Initiative (CCSI)

The Coordinated Children's Services Initiative (CCSI) is multi-agency and multi-systems initiative to address the needs of children with serious emotional disturbances who are involved with more than one children's services system. Typically the children and families services by this program are experiencing difficult in both home and school and may be involved with Social Services, Probation, Family Court or other child serving agency Access to CCSI obtained through the Single Point of Access for Kids (SPOA) at 518.762.5332, X- 115.
