Youth Bureau Seeking Applications To Award Funding For Youth Programming Throughout County

OCFS Funding

The Montgomery County Department of Youth, ATI & Veterans' Services is accepting applications from community -based non-profit organization, public agencies and municipalities who provide direct services to the youth of Montgomery County during 2017. Funds are expected to be available through the NYS Office of Children & Family Services Bureau of Youth Development, contingent upon the passing of the state budget. Eligible programs must provide community-level direct services designed to promote positive youth development and respond to locally identified youth needs in Montgomery County.

These funds are available on a competitive basis, and must be used for the delivery of services between Jan. 1, 2017 - Dec. 31, 2017.

ALL COMPLETED APPLICATIONS ARE DUE TO THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY YOUTH BUREAU NO LATER THAN 4 p.m., ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 15, 2017.

Youth Outreach 2017

The Montgomery County Department of Youth, ATI & Veterans' Services is pleased to announce a limited availability of Outreach Program funds to be administered during 2017.

The primary purpose for allocating these funds is to assist youth-serving programs within Montgomery County who are currently not receiving, or are ineligible to receive, New York State Office of Children and Family Services funding.

A completed application package must be received by the Youth Bureau by 4 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2017. Applications will be reviewed by the Montgomery County Youth Board of Directors, and applicants will be notified of the Youth Board's determination by mail.
