Montgomery County Chairman, John W. Thayer, has rescinded the State of Emergency issued for Hurricane Sandy as of 8:00 a.m. this date.
A travel advisory has been issued until further notice. Anyone traveling should exercise caution when traveling.
Do not drive through flooded roadways.
Do not drive through, around or over downed trees or wires.
Emergency and Utility Crews will be out accessing and repairing damage. Extra caution should be taken in those areas where crews are working.
There is still a chance of more trees and power lines falling throughout the day.
