Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management, the New York State Police and the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office announce that Montgomery County has declared a State Of Emergency and it is now necessary to make a mandatory travel advisory.
Due to potentially dangerous conditions, there shall be no unnecessary travel in Montgomery County. No other travel is allowed or approved.
Travel may become treacherous throughout the County and conditions may worsen.
Motorists violating this order may be ticketed by law enforcement officials.
