The Montgomery County Youth Bureau is pleased to announce the availability of 2024 Youth Development Program Funding, Youth Sports & Education Funding and Youth Team Sports Funding. These funds are available through the NYS Office of Children & Family Services Bureau of Youth Development to community-based, non-profit organizations and/or municipal-operated youth programs who provide direct services to Montgomery County youth. Youth Development Funding is available to eligible programs that provide community-level direct services designed to promote positive youth development and respond to locally identified youth needs in Montgomery County. Sports Funding is available to support local sports activities and sports education for youth between ages 6-17 years old with organized activities promoting physical fitness activities or competitive team sports participation with a limited amount of funding available for the improvement of sports-related infrastructure. These funds are available on a competitive basis and must be used for the delivery of services between 1/1/24 and 9/30/24.
