In an effort to make Amsterdam a Safer Community, Pastor William Hodgetts Jr. of the Trinity Lutheran Church, in conjunction with the Amsterdam Police Department and Montgomery County District Attorney Kelli McCoski, will be launching its third GUN-BUY BACK Program "Gifts for Guns."
Drop off any working handgun to Pastor William Hodgetts Jr. at the Trinity Lutheran Church located at 42 Guy Park Avenue; Amsterdam, NY 12010 on Saturday December 2, 2017, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., in exchange for a $100 gift card. "NO QUESTIONS ASKED."
This program allows people to hand in weapons anonymously without fear of being prosecuted for illegal gun possession.
