Notice to Bidders

Pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, sealed bids will be received by the undersigned for Bid 12-09, the replacement of the New Courthouse Mansard Roof, 56 Broadway, Fonda, Montgomery County, New York, identified as Building No. 6.

Sealed bids must be delivered to said office of the Montgomery County Purchasing Department, County of Montgomery not later than 10:00 AM, Monday, October 26, 2009, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 AM in the office of the Montgomery County Purchasing Department.

The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents, may be examined at the following:

Plans and specifications may be obtained at the office of the Montgomery County Purchasing Agent, Office Building Annex, 1st Floor, 20 Park Street, Fonda, NY 12068-1500 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 AM.

Mandatory pre-bid site visit at the project location, the Public Safety Facility, Clark Drive, Fultonville, NY 12068 will be October 19, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Any bid received from a contractor not present will be returned unopened.

Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those persons whose names and addresses are on record with the Montgomery County Purchasing Department, as having obtained the contract documents.

The right is reserved by the County of Montgomery to waive any informalities in and reject any or all bids.
