Notice to Bidders

Pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, sealed bids will be received by the undersigned for Bid 03-14, Old Courthouse Shingle Roof Replacement, 9 Park Street, Fonda, Montgomery County, New York, identified as Building No. 5.

Sealed bids must be delivered to the office of the Montgomery County Purchasing Department, County of Montgomery not later than 10:00 AM, Tuesday September 30, 2014, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 AM in the office of the Montgomery County Purchasing Department.

The information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents, may be examined at the following:

Plans and specifications may be obtained at the Montgomery County Purchasing Department, Office Building Annex, 1st Floor, 20 Park Street, Fonda, NY 12068-1500 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Mandatory Pre-bid site visit at the project location, the Old Courthouse, 9 Park Street, Fonda, NY 12068 will be Friday, September 26, 2014 at 10:00 AM.  Any bid received from a contractor not present will be returned unopened.

Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those persons whose names and addresses are on record with the Montgomery County Purchasing Department, as having obtained the contract documents.

The right is reserved by the County of Montgomery to waive any informalities in and reject any or all bids.
