Notice is hereby given that the County of Montgomery will receive sealed bids for Bid 02-15 for a new Adult Passenger Bus for Veterans Service Agency. 158” wheelbase with dual rear wheels, fiberglass exterior, should include wheelchair lift on side rear, 10 forward facing fixed seats with seatbelts and 2 wheelchair positions (L Track) in rear, 1 double forward facing flip seat with seatbelts at one of the wheelchair positions for option of seating two additional passengers in lieu of one wheelchair, 2 sets Q-Straint Max retractable tie downs (L Track), 2 Q-Straint combo lap/shoulder belts, 2 Q-Straint shoulder harness wall mounts (L Track), 48K BTU air conditioner roof top condenser with branch guard, 225 amp OEM alternator, flat floor (no interior wheel wells), black rubber flooring, stainless steel step well and door surround, Altro transit flooring with yellow step nosing, driver side running board, midship LED turn signals, circuit breakers in lieu of fuses, LED brake light above “E” door, back-up alarm, fire extinguisher, spare tire and wheel, manual passenger entrance door, 2 entrance door grab rails, seat back grab handles on aisle seats, interior dome lights in passenger area, LED dome light for driver, heated remote exterior mirrors both sides, dual wheel valve stem extensions and AM/FM clock radio w/speakers in body. Please include cost of delivery to Fonda, NY 12068.

Bids must be received by the Purchasing Buyer at the County Annex Building, 20 Park Street, Room 104, Fonda, NY 12068 on or before 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2015. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:00 p.m. at the Purchasing Department Office, Montgomery County Annex Building, Room 104, Fonda, NY.
