RFP #04-14 Engineering Consultants to Conduct a MCSD No. 1 and Village of Canajoharie Regional Sewer Study

Notice is hereby given that the Montgomery County Sanitary District No. 1 is requesting proposals for RFP 04-14 Engineering Consultants to conduct a MCSD No. 1 and Village of Canajoharie Regional Sewer Study. The purposed regional sewer study is focused on the goal of providing an objective analysis of the benefits and drawbacks of various cooperation scenarios between the MCSD and the Village of Canajoharie respect to sewer infrastructure. Primary objectives are to evaluate options for partial or full consolidation of wastewater treatment services at the Village of Canajoharie waste water treatment plant for the purposed to enhanced delivery of treatment services at lower costs.  A New York State Local Government Efficiency Grant is funding this project; respondents should be familiar with the program and its requirements. Public input will be sought in the discussion of goals and objectives.

The Montgomery County Sanitary District No.1 reserves the right to reject any or all proposals; to negotiate any elements of the proposal; to conduct interviews at its sole discretion; and to solicit and/or select contractors outside the scope of the RFP.

Proposals are due 3:00 pm on March 10, 2014 and should be sent to Montgomery County Sanitary District #1, PO Box 246, Fort Plain, NY 13339 or shipping address 28 Old Station Road, Nelliston, NY 13410. All respondents will be notified of the selection as soon as possible after the submission deadline. The Montgomery County Sanitary District No.1 may conduct phone interviews of one or more proposers.
