FEMA and New York State Recovery Assistance Consultant

Notice is hereby given that the Montgomery County Sanitary District No. 1 is requesting proposals for FEMA and NYS Recovery Assistance Consultant. The effects of a flooding disaster that occurred on June 28, 2013 recently devastated the Montgomery County Sanitary District No.1.  We are in the process of planning and executing a massive recovery program.  To that end, the Montgomery County Sanitary District No.1seeks a professional consultant or consulting firm to provide expertise to augment our capabilities to recover the maximum financial recovery from FEMA and New York State.  Any such consultant must be prepared to provide onsite assistance to assess the impacts of the disaster, determine our capability to respond effectively and provide proven strategies for recovery upon the development and implementation services.  Of particular importance is assisting Montgomery County Sanitary District No.1 with documentation and claim presentation to FEMA and state representative.

The Montgomery County Sanitary District No.1 reserves the right to reject any or all proposals; to negotiate any elements of the proposal; to conduct interviews at its sole discretion; and to solicit and/or select contractors outside the scope of the RFP.
Proposals are due 3:00 pm on February 24, 2014 and should be sent to Montgomery County Sanitary District #1, PO Box 246, Fort Plain, NY 13339.   All respondents will be notified of the selection as soon as possible after the submission deadline.  The Montgomery County Sanitary District No.1 may conduct phone interviews of one or more proposers.
