Election Dates
VOTERS ACROSS NY STATE WILL BE ALLOWED TO CAST THEIR BALLOTS IN PERSON BEFORE ELECTION DAY.
WHAT IS EARLY VOTING?
Early voting allows voters to cast their ballot in person before Election Day at any one of the Early Voting Polling Locations. Voting during early voting is the same as voting on Election Day. You will check in to vote, receive your ballot and vote as any other election. If you vote during the early voting period, you are not eligible to vote on Election Day. General Election – November 5, 2024
There will be three early voting poll site locations:
- Amsterdam Housing Authority; 52 Division Street, Amsterdam
- Montgomery County Board of Elections; 9 Park Street, Fonda
- Fort Plain Senior Center; 204 Canal Street, Fort Plain
General Election Early Voting Hours: October 26th – November 3rd
- Saturday, October 26th– 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Sunday, October 27th – 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Monday, October 28th – 12:00pm to 8:00pm
- Tuesday, October 29th – 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Wednesday, October 30th – 12:00pm to 8:00pm
- Thursday, October 31st – 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Friday, November 1st – 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Saturday, November 2nd – 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Sunday, November 3rd – 9:00am to 5:00pm
