The public is invited to help identify needs, opportunities and propose resiliency projects, strategies and actions for Montgomery County.
NYS Department of State and Montgomery County NY Rising Planning Committee to Host Public Engagement Meeting May 12, 2014
Representatives of the community are invited to participate in the planning of Montgomery County’s future. New York State has invited communities in Montgomery County to prepare a New York Rising Countywide Resiliency Plan and implement identified projects that will “build back better.” A Public Engagement Meeting will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Arkell Museum, 2 Erie Boulevard, Canajoharie, NY 13317 at which the community will have the opportunity to provide input to the Montgomery County Planning Committee to help identify needs, opportunities and proposed resiliency projects, strategies and actions for Montgomery County.
Representatives of the Department of State, along with members of the project Planning Committee and local elected officials, will be on hand to hear from the public and to discuss community needs, opportunities and proposed projects.
