Notice to Bidders

Pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, sealed bids will be received by the undersigned for the replacement of Fort Hunter Road (CR 145) over South Branch of Chuctanunda Creek, Town of Florida, Montgomery County, New York, identified as BIN 3310190.

Sealed bids must be delivered to said office of the Montgomery County Purchasing Department, County of Montgomery not later than 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 28, 2017, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:05 A.M. in the office of the Montgomery County Purchasing Department.

The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents, may be examined at the following:

A CD with plans and specifications may be obtained at the office of the Montgomery County Purchasing Buyer, Office Building Annex, 1st Floor, 20 Park Street, Fonda, New York 12068- 1500 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. The first CD of plans and specifications is free, each additional CD is $10.00 each (non-refundable). Checks shall be made payable to Montgomery County for each additional CD so obtained. No CDs will be mailed without pre- payment of the additional CD fee, if applicable, (non-refundable) plus $10.00 for postage and handling (non-refundable).

Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those persons whose names and addresses are on record with the Montgomery County Purchasing Department, County of Montgomery, as having obtained the contract documents.

The right is reserved by the County of Montgomery to waive any informalities in and reject any or all bids.
