Fort Plain Fire Department Building and Firetruck

The Fort Plain Volunteer Fire Department consists of up to 45 members. The Department responds to approximately 200 calls per year and serves the entire Village of Fort Plain, parts of the Town of Minden, the entire Village of Nelliston and parts of the Town of Palatine.

The Department has an Engine, a Tanker, a Ladder truck, A Brush truck, a Rescue truck and a 4x4 Kabota for off road work.

The Department is always looking for new members!! Any interested parties should send an e-mail or stop by the Firehouse some Tuesday night at 7 PM as that is our work/training/meeting night.
