Established in 1935, we protect our district with one Tower truck, two Tanker/Engines, two Rescues, one Brush truck, a zodiac rescue boat, special operations trailer and technical/water rescue trailer. Our district includes the villages of Canajoharie and Palatine Bridge and the towns of Canajoharie, Palatine, and Root. Additionally we cover 20 miles of the NYS Thruway.

We are always looking for new members and encourage you to visit us on any Tuesday evening. There are many jobs on our fire department. You do not need to be a firefighter to join.
