Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department and Charleston Volunteer Fire Department
are Looking For New Members

Not all members need to be a fire fighter. You might like to join and help with:

• Fire Truck Pump Operator
• Fire Truck or Rescue Van Driver
• EMT
• Fundraising
• Parades
• Events Coordinators
• Auxiliary

Active member’s trainings are free.

There is an average of 100 – 120 calls per year.

Benefits are:

• $200 NYS Income Tax Credit per fire fighter
• Possible Tuition Reimbursement Through FASNY
• Credit Union Through FASNY

Meeting nights are Tuesdays at 7 PM.

You need to be 16 years of age or older to apply.
