Town of Glen

The Town of Glen was established in 1823. Extending over almost 40 square miles, it is rich in agriculture, and includes a large Amish community. The town is home to the National Shrine of North American Martyrs, Auriesville Shrine, as well as the Schoharie Aqueduct & Boat Launch. Despite a population of only around 2,500, they do maintain their own volunteer Fire Department.
