Five Montgomery County Corrections Employees Honored For Saving Life

Quick, Coordinated Actions Of Officers Lead To Assisting & Reviving Of Inmate With CPR

FULTONVILLE - Five Montgomery County corrections employees were honored recently for their actions in saving the life of a person at the Sheriff's Office. Last month, Officers Adam J. Houle, Matthew R. Bramer, Michael R. Bellamy, Roger A. Carter and Christopher J. Rando were recognized and commended for their quick action in assisting and reviving an inmate who was in cardiac arrest.

Back in February, the coordinated response of the five men led to a successful revival, with CPR, of an inmate at the Sheriff's Office. On May 11, Houle, Bellamy and Rando received the Life Saving Award, presented by Montgomery County Sheriff Michael J. Amato, while Bramer and Carter received Letters of Commendation for their assistance and support of those performing CPR.
