Our Mission:

Montgomery County Kindness Cakes is dedicated to baking cakes for children in the foster care system. MCKC’s goal is to ensure every child in the community receives a birthday cake on their special day! Baking cakes for families in need is best achieved through shared responsibility and mutual support.

Our volunteers bake, decorate, and deliver cakes to children throughout Montgomery County. Ensuring no child is left without a birthday cake is our number one goal.

What difference does a cake make?
Everyone likes cake, but birthday cakes are special! There are many reasons why a birthday cake can make a difference:

• Having a birthday cake made just for you makes you feel special and appreciated.
• Showing a child that their community cares about them can help change their outlook on life and even inspire them in the future.
• No child wants to feel left out, at Kindness Cakes we make it easier on struggling families so that every child is able to celebrate their birthday.
• Making a birthday cake may not change the world, but it can make a difference in a child's life.
