The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is staffed with 11 Full Time Dispatchers and 10 Part Time. There is a minimum of 3 Dispatchers on from 7am until 11pm and the 2-3 dispatchers on from 11pm-7am. Montgomery County has 18 Volunteer Fire Departments, 1 paid Fire Department, 3 Ambulance Services, 1 Correctional Facility and 8 Police Agencies all of whom Montgomery County Dispatchers are responsible for appropriately dispatching them to calls and keeping track of all their activity. The Dispatchers are also responsible for answering all emergency and non-emergency calls for service with the County.
