Mental Health and Addiction Services
Mental Health Services in Montgomery County include clinical services operated by St. Mary’s Hospital – both adult and children’s services. There is an Adult Outpatient Clinic for counseling; outpatient Continuing Day Treatment Program (CDT) for people who need more intensive and more frequent services; an Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation Treatment Program (IPRT) for people preparing to return to school and/or work; there are three levels of case management services for people who need assistance navigating the service system and community life; there is a social club for educational and recreational activities
St. Mary’s Hospital provides a “hot line” for mental health crisis; they provide mental health inpatient services; they assess individuals who are at imminent risk of harm to self or others and issue “pickup orders” to provide for individual and community safety.
Addiction services are also provided by St. Mary’s Hospital. Clinical outpatient counseling services and inpatient rehabilitation services are provided. The outpatient clinic provides methadone and newer medications to qualifying patients.
