RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE TO EXECUTE AN CONTRACT WITH C.T. MALE ASSOCIATES FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES TO THE FMCC CAMPUS PAVING PROJECT (2023 CAPITAL PLAN)

WHEREAS, the 2023 Capital Plan includes a $70,000 appropriation for engineering and design services to the Campus Paving Project, and

WHEREAS, the engineering and design services will entail the following:

1. Topographic Survey
2. Subsurface Investigation
3. Pavement Design and Drawings

and

WHEREAS, FMCC received an updated cost proposal from C.T. Male Associates dated June 14, 2023 to perform these services at a cost of $69,600.00, and

WHEREAS, the FMCC Campus Paving Project breakdown of costs are as follows:

 NYS                                        $34,800.00

Montgomery County                 $17,400.00

Fulton County                          $17,400.00

Total                                      $69,600.00; and

RESOLVED,  the Montgomery County Executive, upon review and approval by the County Attorney, is authorized and directed to sign a contract with C.T. Male Associates for engineering and design services at a cost not to exceed $69,600; and

FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution is contingent upon a similar resolution being passed by Fulton County.
