RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE TO SIGN AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT WITH VECTOR SOLUTIONS (PERSONNEL)

WHEREAS, the Personnel Officer has recommends an amendment to our current Vector Solution Contract, extending the service term from a single year to a multi-year term for a more cohesive operation; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Department has been working with and recommends maintaining our training relationship with Vector Solutions; and
WHEREAS, the funds for 2021 and 2022 have already been budgeted for at a cost of $11.00 per employee per year, should the amount of employees increase, the total cost will increase accordingly; and
RESOLVED, that the Montgomery County Legislature hereby authorizes and directs the County Executive, following the review and approval by the County Attorney, to sign a three year contract commencing on November 10, 2021 through December 31, 2024 with Vector Solutions for the training program at a cost of $11.00 per employee per year .

II. Justification:
Countywide training program that utilizes online platform to deliver training.
III. Legislative Impact:
Pursuant to Article 3 of the Charter the Montgomery County Executive has the power to sign contracts.
IV. Financial Impact:
The financial impact for the three year contract with Vector Solutions is at a cost of $11.00 per employee per year. Currently, the contract is based on 450 employees. Should the number of employees increase, the impact will reflect the same.
