County of Montgomery Local law no. 10 of the year 1992
A local law Establishing the 1992 Salaries of Various County Officials
Be it enacted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Montgomery as follows:
SECTION 1.(a) The annual salaries of the following County Officials are hereby fixed at the sum opposite the office and designation of such County Officials, to wit:
Director of Real Property Tax Service       $26, 750
Personnel Officer                           $28,700
Commissioner of Social Services             $37, 534
Commissioner of Public Works                $41,050
(b) For the year 1992 on and after the effective date of this Local Law, the forgoing officials shall be paid at such rates which, when added to amounts paid during the year 1992 prior to such effective date, will_ equal the annual salary fixed for such offices .
SECTION 2. This Local Law is subject to a permissive referendum, and will be submitted to a vote of qualified electors of the County of Montgomery, if, within 45 days after the date of which it was so adopted, there is filed with the Clerk of the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors a petition protesting against this Local Law, signed and authenticated as required by Section 24 of the Municipal Home Rule Law, by qualified electors of Montgomery County registered to vote therein at the last preceding general election, in number equal to at least ten per centum of the total number of votes cast for Governor at the last gubernatorial election held in said County.
