NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING IN
RELATION TO PROPOSED LOCAL
LAW NO. 3 - YEAR 1956, COUNTY
OF MONTGOMERY, NEW YORK.

TAKE NOTICE, that on the 11th day of September, 1956, proposed Local Law No. 3 for the year 1956, County of Montgomery, New York, entitled, "A local law establishing the compensation of County Super¬intendent of Highways of :Mont¬gomery and providing for incre¬ment in relation to such office", was presented to the Board of Su¬pervisors at a regular meeting thereof, and that a public hearing in relation thereto will be held in the Supervisors Chambers in the 0Ld Courthouse in the Village of Fonda, New York, on the 9th day of October, 1956, at 1 :30 o'clock in the afternoon,
TAKE FURTHER NOTICT, that the following is a copy of the said local law;
LOCAL LAW NO 3 - YEAR 1956, COUNTY OF MONTGOMERY, NEW YORK.
A local law establishing the compensation of County Superin¬tendent of Highways of Montgom¬ery County and providing for incre¬ment in relation to such office.
Be it enacted by the Board of Super¬visors of Montgomery County as fol¬lows:
Section 1: There shall be paid to the County Superintendent of Highways an annual salary of $7,500.00, payable in semi-monthly installments by the Montgomery County Treasurer.
Section 2: An increment or in¬crease in the amount of $350.00 per annum for the second year of em-ployment, commencing January 1, 1957, an increment of $350.00 for the third year of employment, and an increment of $350.00 for the fourth year of employment shall be paid to said County Superintendent of Highways as it accrues, and the salary of the said County Superin¬tendent of Highways is fixed and determined accordingly.
Section 3: This act shall take effect in accordance with the pro¬visions of Section 306 of the County Law of the State of New York on the 1st day of January, 1957.
