RE: A Local Law Fixing the Salaries of the Montgomery County Judge, Montgomery County Surrogate and Montgomery county Family Court Judge,
Introduced by Supervisor Nellis:
BE IT ENACTED BY THE BOARD 0F SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF MONTGOMERY, AS FOLLOW8:
SECTION 1. .Pursuant to Section 183 of the Judiciary Law, subdivision c of section 136 of the Family Court Act and (Chapter 158 of the laws of 1970) the salary of the Montgomery County Judge, Montgomery County Surrogate and Montgomery County Family Court Judge is each hereby increased to the sum of Twenty-Five Thousand Five Hundred ($25,500.00) Dollars.
SECTION 2. This local law is subject to a permissive referendum and the Clerk of this Board of Supervisors is hereby directed to publish the notice of adoption of this local law as required by section 101 of the county law of the State of New York.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that there has been duly presented and introduced before the Board of Supervisors of Montgomery County, New York, on June 9, 1970, a proposed local law entitled, "A local law fixing the salaries of the Montgomery County Judge, Montgomery County Surrogate and Montgomery County Family Court Judge."
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the Board of Supervisors will conduct a hearing on the aforesaid proposed local Jaw at the Supervisors' Chambers, New County Office Building, Fonda, N.Y., at 8:00 P.M., on June 23, 1970, at which time all persons interested will be heard
