RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING COUNTY EXECUTIVE TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 WITH LACORTE COMPANIES, INC. FOR FMCC CAMPUS LABS AND CLASSROOMS BUILDING PHASE I PROJECT

WHEREAS, Fulton and Montgomery Counties have approved a $1,000,000 FMCC Campus Labs and Classrooms Phase I Project, and 

WHEREAS, funding will be from:

SUNY:	$500,000
FULTON COUNTY:	$250,000
MONTGOMERY COUNTY:	$250,000

and

WHEREAS, Resolution #69 of 2018 authorized the County Executive to execute certain Agreements for the FMCC Campus Labs and Classrooms Building Phase I Project, and 

WHEREAS, one of these Agreements was with LaCorte Companies, Inc. in the amount of $99,111 to provide Electrical services, and 

WHEREAS, the original contract agreement contained an $11,000.00 Contingency Allowance to be used for unexpected circumstances, and 

WHEREAS, FMCC is recommending that LaCorte Companies, Inc.’s contract be decreased by $8,071.85 to credit back the unspent Contingency Allowance funds to the project. 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Executive is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 1 in the amount of (-) $8,071.85 with LaCorte Companies, Inc., and be it further 

RESOLVED, that LaCorte Companies, Inc. revised contract amount will now be:

ORIGINAL CONTACT AMOUNT:	$99,111.00
CHANGE ORDER NO. 1: (-)	$8,071.85
REVISED CONTRACT AMOUNT:	$91,039.15
