RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2017 OPERATING BUDGET - RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (SHERIFF)

WHEREAS, the MontgomeryCounty Sheriff's Office E911 Dispatch Center is currently using "Impact" as it records management system, and

WHEREAS, the Sheriff has been notified that the current system needs to be updated to continue to operate, and

WHEREAS, the Sheriff is requesting a budget amendment to cover the cost using the E911 reserve account,

RESOLVED, the County Treasurer is authorized and directed to amend the 2017 Operating Budget as follows:

I. Nature of Request:

AMENDING THE 2017 OPERATING BUDGET - RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

II. Justification:

Purchase is required to keep the current system running.

III. Legislative Impact:

Pursuant to Article 2 of the Charter the Montgomery County Legislature has the power to make appropriations.

IV. Financial Impact:

Funding for project will be offset by the use of E911 reserves
