RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS FOR THE FMCC STUDENT UNION ADDITION/ RENOVATIONS PROJECT

WHEREAS, bids on four (4) prime construction contracts were received and opened on February 3, 2016 for the FMCC Student Union Addition/Renovations Project; and

WHEREAS, recommendations from JMZ Architects were received regarding the lowest responsible responsive bidders; and

WHEREAS, in addition to the construction contracts, Fulton and Montgomery Counties must also award contracts for various services and equipment including:

• Construction Administration Services
• Clerk of the Works
• Special Inspection Services
• Asbestos Testing/Monitoring.
• Furniture and Equipment
• IT Equipment
• Audio/Visual Equipment

WHEREAS, JMZ Architects has reviewed all bids received for the four (4) prime construction contracts.

RESOLVED, based upon the bids received and the recommendations from JMZ Architects regarding the lowest responsible bidders, and upon review and approval by the County Attorney that the County Executive is authorized and directed to execute the following construction contracts:
