RESOLUTION ADOPTING INTRODUCTORY LOCAL LAW F OF 2014 - A LOCAL LAW ESTABLISHING SALARY SCHEDULE OF VARIOUS COUNTY OFFICIALS (OFFICE OF THE LEGISLATURE)

WHEREAS, the Montgomery County Legislature has adopted a non-bargaining policy which defines a salary schedule for all non-bargaining employees employed by Montgomery County, and


RESOLVED, that Introductory Local Law F of 2012 hereby is adopted and is incorporated as follows: “A LOCAL LAW ESTABLISHING 2014 - 2016 SALARIES OF VARIOUS COUNTY OFFICIALS” Be it enacted by the Legislature of the County of Montgomery as follows: SECTION 1. Various County Officials are listed as follows: Sheriff Commissioner of Public Works Commissioner of Social Services Data Processing Director Public Health Director County Clerk County Treasurer Personnel Officer Probation Director Economic Development Director Sanitary Sewer District Superintendent Real Property Director Clerk of the Legislature County Historian Election Commissioners (2) Director of Youth Bureau, ATI & Veteran Svcs Weights & Measures Director County Attorney Emergency Management Director Community Services Director Public Defender STOP DWI Coordinator shall be entitled to the non-bargaining personnel policy compensation schedules adopted by the Montgomery County Legislature, Resolution 200 of 2014, effective January 1, 2013 – December 31, 2016. SECTION 2. This Local Law is subject to a permissive referendum, and will be submitted to a vote of qualified electors of the County of Montgomery, if, within 45 days after the date of which it was so adopted, there is filed with the Clerk of the Montgomery County Legislature a petition protesting against this Local Law, signed and authenticated as required by Section 24 of Municipal Home Rule Law, by qualified electors of Montgomery County registered to vote therein at the last preceding general election, in number equal to at least ten per centum of the total number of votes cast for Governor at the last gubernatorial election held in said County; and


FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Legislature hereby is authorized and directed to file one certified copy thereof in the Office of the Secretary of State and to ensure that it is published in the County’s designated legal newspapers, as required by law. FURTHER RESOLVED, this resolution is contingent upon the passage of Resolution 200 of 2014.
