RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO SIGN AGREEMENT FOR CONVEYANCE OF WATER AND SEWER SERVICE IMPROVEMENTS (ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT/PLANNING)

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution #298 of 2000, Montgomery County entered into a Water and Sewer System Inter-Municipal Cooperation Agreement, dated May 1, 2001, relating to water & sewer improvements for the development of the Town of Florida Industrial Park, and
WHEREAS, said agreement provided that Montgomery County would own said improvements until such time as the debt for payment of same was retired, at which time said improvements would be conveyed to the City of Amsterdam and the Town of Florida,
RESOLVED, that upon review and approval of the County Attorney, the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors is authorized to sign said agreement.
