RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING USE OF COMMERCIAL CARD FOR CENTRALIZED ACCOUNTS PAYABLE (TREASURER)

WHEREAS, the use of a commercial card to pay vendors is much more efficient than issuing checks and allows the County the maximum float on it's funds, and
WHEREAS, the County would receive rebates based on the number of vendors that currently accept commercial cards,
RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, following review and approval by the County Attorney, hereby is authorized to sign an agreement with JP Morgan Chase for the acquisition of a commercial card for centralized accounts payable.
RESOLUTION VOTE, passed with Aye(1608). Supervisors Strevy and Quackenbush were absent. (6/25/2013)
