RESOLUTION CHANGING THE TITLE OF POSITION AND AMENDING THE 2012 OPERATING BUDGET (TREASURER)

WHEREAS, positions titled Accounting Supervisor have existed in the Departments of Public Health, Public Works and Social Services, and

WHEREAS, due to additional reporting and accounting requirments the Treasurer’s Department now has a need for an Accounting Supervisors position,  

WHEREAS, the County Treasurer hereby requests the titled Accountant position (Grade I) be upgraded to an Accounting Supervisor position (Grade K),

RESOLVED, the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors hereby supports and authorizes the change from an Accountant position to an Accounting Supervisor position, and

FURTHER RESOLVED, the County Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to amend the 2012 Operating Budget as follows:
