RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PUBLIC HEARING - LOCAL LAW NO. 1 OF 2012 - A LOCAL LAW AUTHORIZING THE PRIVATE SALE OF COUNTY-OWNED PROPERTY, NOT NEEDED FOR A COUNTY PURPOSE - TOWN OF CANAJOHARIE (TREASURER)

WHEREAS, a public hearing is required to be held concerning Local Law No. 1 of 2012, a local law authorizing the private sale of County-owned property, not needed for a County purpose,

RESOLVED, that Local Law No. 1 of 2012 hereby is submitted to the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors for consideration, following the holding of a public hearing, as follows:

LOCAL LAW NO. 1 OF 2012 - A LOCAL LAW AUTHORIZING THE PRIVATE SALE OF COUNTY-OWNED PROPERTY, NOT NEEDED FOR A COUNTY PURPOSE - TOWN OF CANAJOHARIE

BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Montgomery as follows:

SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of the County of Montgomery has determined that County-owned real property parcels, known as SBL’s 63.63-2-7, 63.63-2-8 and 63.63-2-9, located in the Town of Canajoharie are no longer necessary for public use, and

SECTION 2.  The Board of Supervisors of the County of Montgomery hereby authorizes the conveyance of all the right, title and interest of the County in and to said real properties to Village of Canajoharie, and

FURTHER RESOLVED, said public hearing shall be held Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 6:50 PM, in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 64 Broadway, County Office Building, Fonda, New York, and

FURTHER RESOLVED, the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors hereby is directed to cause legal notice of said public hearing to be published according to law.
