RESOLUTION AMENDING 2012 OPERATING BUDGET (SHERIFF)

WHEREAS, the cooling system in the jail’s central control computer room is malfunctioning, and

WHEREAS, it is important to reduce the temperature in the room to prevent computer failure or damage, and

WHEREAS, the new cooling system should provide the cooling needs for the present and the future, and

WHEREAS, the Sheriff’s Office has received a quote of $7,995.00 for the unit and installation,

RESOLVED, the County Treasurer is hereby directed to amend the 2012 Operating Budget as follows:
TRANSFER FROM:    
     
A-01-4-1990-00-4400 Contingent Account$7,995.00
     
TRANSFER TO:    
     
A-15-4-3150-00-2250 Technical Equipment$7,995.00 
     

MOTION TO AMEND by Supervisor Sweet, seconded by Supervisor Walters, to change the amount of $7,995.00 in both funds to $6,495.00, passed with Aye(1868). (2/28/2012)
