RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNTY AUDITOR
Resolution by Supervisor:   Greco
Seconded by: Barone, Sr.

RESOLVED, that ___________ of ________, hereby is appointed County Auditor, at an annual base salary of $_______ for a term commencing on January 1, 2012 and ending on December 31, 2013, and

FURTHER RESOLVED, that said County Auditor shall perform such duties as authorized by Section 600 of County Law, and

FURTHER RESOLVED, that said County Auditor shall be authorized and empowered to appoint one Deputy Auditor.

MOTION TO AMEND by Supervisor Greco, seconded by Supervisor Wheeler, to insert the name of Marco Zumbolo at an annual base salary of $31,957 in the "RESOLVED" clause, was defeated with Aye(717).  Supervisors Stark, Chaira, Allen, Walters, Strevy, Quackenbush, Sweet, Thayer and Stagliano voted Nay.  Supervisor Rajkowski was absent. MOTION TO AMEND by Supervisor Quackenbush, seconded by Supervisor Sweet, to amend the Resolution title as follows: "RESOLUTION ABOLISHING COUNTY AUDITOR POSITION" and strike the "RESOLVED" clause, amend the first "FURTHER RESOLVED" clause as follows: "FURTHER RESOLVED, that said County Auditor position is hereby abolished in Montgomery County", amend the second "FURTHER RESOLVED" as follows: "FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds from said abolished position be moved to the Montgomery County Fund Balance", passed with Aye(1008).  Supervisors Greco, Barone, Sr., Wheeler, DiMezza and Coddington voted Nay.  Supervisor Rajkowski was absent.
