RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN ANTENNA SITE LEASE AGREEMENT WITH WAMC/NORTHEAST PUBLIC RADIO (WAMC) (SHERIFF)

WHEREAS, WAMC operates the WCAN tower antenna site located in Canajoharie, New York, and
WHEREAS, WAMC desires to lease to Montgomery County and Montgomery County desires to lease from WAMC certain space at the site for installation and operation of the Microwave System as set forth in the Lease Agreement, and
WHEREAS, Montgomery County shall not pay no recurring monthly monetary costs for the use of the site, and
WHEREAS, the term of the lease shall commence on the term commencement date and continue for a period of five (5) years, and shall automatically renew at the commencement of each renewal term unless upon written notice to the other party no later than ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of the term then current, WAMC or the County terminates the lease,
RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, upon review and approval of the County Attorney, is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Lease Agreement between Montgomery County and WAMC/Northeast Public Radio.
