RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO SIGN EMPIRE ZONE ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, the Amsterdam-Florida-Glen Empire Zone Administrative Board is the designated authority to oversee administration of said Zone, and

WHEREAS, the County reaffirms its commitment to help revive and stimulate the local economy through said zone, and

WHEREAS, New York State will match local contributions,

RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, following review and approval by the County Attorney, hereby is authorized and directed to sign an agreement with the Amsterdam-Florida-Glen Empire Zone Administrative Board,

FURTHER RESOLVED, that said agreement, commencing on July 1, 2004 and ending on June 30, 2005, shall provide for a total annual payment of  $11,700 to the City Controller.
