Chairman John M. Duchessi has called a meeting of the Personnel Committee for 6:09 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in the Legislative Chambers, County Office Building, 64 Broadway, Fonda, New York 12068.

RESOLUTION NO. 226 of 2021 DATED: October 26, 2021 RECOMMENDATION:

WHEREAS, the Personnel Officer has recommends an amendment to our current Vector Solution Contract, extending the service term from a single year to a multi-year term for a more cohesive operation; and

WHEREAS, the Personnel Department has been working with and recommends maintaining our training relationship with Vector Solutions; and 

WHEREAS, the funds for 2021 and 2022 have already been budgeted for at a cost of $11.00 per employee per year, should the amount of employees increase, the total cost will increase accordingly; and

RESOLVED, that the Montgomery County Legislature hereby authorizes and directs the County Executive, following the review and approval by the County Attorney, to sign a three year contract commencing on November 10, 2021 through December 31, 2024 with Vector Solutions for the training program at a cost of $11.00 per employee per year .

RESOLUTION NO. 227 of 2021 DATED: October 26, 2021 RECOMMENDATION:

WHEREAS, negotiations for a successor employment agreement to contract with Montgomery County Sheriff's Corrections Unit, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 294 has been conducted; and

WHEREAS, the parties reach a Memorandum of Agreement for Corrections Officers; and

WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Agreement has been ratified by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Corrections Unite, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 294.

RESOLVED, that the Montgomery County Legislature hereby ratifies and approves the Memorandum of Agreement between the County of Montgomery and the Montgomery Sheriff's Corrections Unit, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 294; and be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Executive, upon review and approval of the County Attorney is hereby authorized to sign a Contract Incorporating said Memorandum of Agreement, with Corrections Officers for the period of January 1 2018 through December 31, 2023.

FURTHER RESOLVED, the County Treasurer is authorized and directed to amend the 2021 operating budget as follows:
