NOTICE OF SECOND PUBLIC HEARING 2018 MONTGOMERY COUNTY APPLICATION THROUGH THE OFFICE OF COMMUNITY RENEWAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT – AGRICULTURAL MICROENTERPRISE GRANT PROGRAM
Montgomery County will hold public hearings on Tuesday, January 26 2021 at 6:55 pm at the Chambers of the County Legislature, County Office Building, Broadway, Fonda, NY 12068 to discuss the status of a project a project under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. New York State Homes and Community Renewal (NYSHCR) administers the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) for the State of New York. The NYS CDBG program provides financial assistance to eligible counties, cities, villages and towns in order to develop viable communities by providing decent, affordable housing, and suitable living environments, as well as expanding economic opportunities, principally for persons of low to moderate income. The hearing is being conducted pursuant to Section 570.486, Subpart I of the CFR and in compliance with the requirements of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. Montgomery County was awarded a Community Development Block Grant in 2018 in the amount of $200,000 for an Agricultural Microenterprise Grant Program.
The Chambers of the County Legislature is accessible to persons with disabilities.
