RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2018 OPERATING BUDGET - PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT

WHEREAS, Montgomery County is a supporter of Shared Services, and
WHEREAS, Montgomery County Department of Public Works and the Emergency Management Office have agreed to secure a piece of equipment beneficial to both department's, and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works is requesting a transfer of funds to help with the purchase of a new truck to be shared between the Department of Public Works and the Emergency Management Office'
RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer is authorized and directed to amend the 2018 operating budget as follows:

I. Nature of Request:
For Authorization allowing the County Treasurer to transfer funds from the DM Fund of DPW to the A Fund Equipment for Emergency Manangement
II. Justification:
For the purchase of a new Shared Service vehicle between DPW and EMO.
III. Legislative Impact:
Pursuant to Article 2 of the Montgomery County Charter, the Legislature has the power to make appropriations.
IV. Financial Impact:
No financial impact- Funds were budgeted in the 2018 Operating Budget
