RESOLUTION NO. 260 of 2017 DATED: November 28, 2017 RECOMMENDATION:

WHEREAS, the FMCC Allen House Project is being constructed with no dollars from Montgomery and Fulton Counties, and 

WHEREAS, Resolution #133 of 2017 authorized the County Executive to execute certain Agreements for the FMCC Allen House Project, and 

WHEREAS, one of these Agreements was with Adirondack Cabling to provide video surveillance and network data cabling, and 

WHEREAS, due to the installation method utilized by Adirondack Cabling, a different type of fiber optic cable was required 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Executive is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $1,774 with Adirondack Cabling, and be it further 

RESOLVED, that Adirondack Cabling’s revised contract amount will now be:

                   ORIGINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT       :           $34,055.55

                   CHANGE ORDER NO. 1                        : (+)    $ 1,774.00

                   REVISED CONTRACT AMOUNT         :           $35,829.55

RESOLUTION NO. 261 of 2017 DATED: November 28, 2017 RECOMMENDATION:

WHEREAS, the FMCC Allen House Project is being constructed with no dollars from Montgomery and Fulton Counties, and 

WHEREAS, Resolution #133 of 2017 authorized the County Executive to execute certain Agreements for the FMCC Allen House Project, and

WHEREAS, one of these Agreements was with D & L Utility Services to provide electrical work, and 

WHEREAS, FMCC desires to purchase and install additional light fixtures and controls for the Allen House.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Executive is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $8,500 with D & L Utility Services , and be it further 

RESOLVED, that D & L Utility Services revised contract amount will now be:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Executive is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $13,165.63 with Standard Commercial Interiors , and be it further

RESOLUTION NO. 263 of 2017 DATED: November 28, 2017 RECOMMENDATION:

WHEREAS, Fulton and Montgomery Counties awarded contracts for the following prime contracts for the FMCC Student Union Project: 

General Construction :  Bast Hatfield

Electrical Construction:  LaCorte Companies

Plumbing Construction:  Eckert Mechanical

HVAC Construction:  Campito Plumbing and Heating 

WHEREAS, Resolution #134 executed Change Order No. 2 in the amount of (-) $4,272.29, and

WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 should be in the amount of (-) $6,299.51.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, Resolution #134 executed Change Order No. 2 is hereby amended to reflect the revised amount of (-) $6,299.51.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Executive be and is hereby authorized to execute a credit Change Order with Bast Hatfield to credit back the unused Contingency Allowance:

RESOLUTION NO. 264 of 2017 DATED: November 28, 2017 RECOMMENDATION:

WHEREAS, funding for the FMCC Allen House Project is coming from two (2) sources:

; and 

WHEREAS, there are no Montgomery County funds involved with this project; and 

WHEREAS, when all contracts were originally awarded for the Allen House Project, there was a balance of $99,298.46 in the total funding available for the Project; and 

WHEREAS, FMCC desires to have additional paving, sodding and other site work completed in and around the Allen House.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Executive is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 1 with Bishop Beaudry that would add $25,000 to Bishop Beaudry’s Contingency Allowance to allow for the additional work FMCC desires to have completed; and

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the approval of this Change Order would result in the following revised contract with Bishop Beaudry: 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that certified copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Fulton County and FMCC.
