Eight-Year Review of Agricultural District # 2

Notice is hereby given that the Montgomery County Legislature will conduct a Public Hearing in the Chambers of the County Legislature, County Office Building, Broadway, Fonda, New York at 6:55 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. All interested parties and citizens will be heard.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to consider the recommendations of the Montgomery County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Board regarding the modification of Agricultural District # 2 for a period of eight (8) years.

The intent of the proposed modification is to include all viable agricultural land in the Towns of Amsterdam, Mohawk, Palatine, and St. Johnsville, in Agricultural District # 2. A description and map of said district and recommendations made thereto, may be examined in the Department of Economic Development and Planning, Room 210, Old County Courthouse Building, Fonda, New York.
