Job Title: COORDINATED CHILDREN'S SERVICES PROGRAM SPECIALIST-PROVISIONAL

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS:  This is a professional  position within the Coordinated Children’s Services Program (CCSP), a program within the Public Health Department.  The Coordinator of the CCSP directly supervises the position.  The position involves shared responsibilities within the Preschool Special Education (PSE), Early Intervention (EI), Physically Handicapped Children (PHC), and Children with Special Health Care Needs (CHCN) Programs.  The incumbent performs initial and ongoing service coordination activities and assigned Local Early Intervention Coordinating Council (LEICC) functions within the EI Program; serves at the discretion of the Coordinator of the CCSP as a municipal representative on the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) within the PSE Program; and performs case management/coordination services within the PHC, PSE and CHCN programs respectively.

Job Title: PUBLIC WORKS STORES HELPER II

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS:  This position exists in the County Public Works Department, and involves responsibility to assist in the efficient operation of a central Public Works Stores and Dispatching unit, where an extensive and varied stock of supplies and equipment is received and stored.  Additionally, employees in this class operate light equipment in the pickup and delivery of supplies and equipment, and storeroom equipment such as a forklift associated with stockroom operation.  The work is performed under direct supervision of an Automotive Mechanic Supervisor, with leeway allowed for exercise of independent judgment in carrying out details of the work.  Supervision may be exercised over the work of Public Works Stores Helpers I.  The incumbent does related work as required.
