Town of St. Johnsville:

With a population of just over 2,600, and including just over 17 square miles, the Town of St. Johnsville is the smallest town, by area, in Montgomery County. St. Johnsville is home to Fort Klock Historic Restoration, which includes Fort Klock, a National Historic Landmark. Fort Klock is a fortified stone farmstead, built in 1750 by Johannes Klock, which includes 30 acres with many reconstructed colonial buildings including a working blacksmith’s shop, a Colonial Dutch barn and a 19th century schoolhouse.
